There were four of us for lunch, and despite the crowds, we were served quickly and without any issues. Honestly, having eaten out often, it's rare to find such impeccable service. You can tell there's a great atmosphere among their team, which is very pleasant for a customer. I also think the manager was present and pitching in... so rare! I 100% recommend this restaurant; above all, the food is delicious!

Excellent evening at the Hippopotamus in Chambourcy!!! We received a very warm welcome from the entire team. Special mention to Gabrielle who took such good care of us (advice, service, etc.). We will definitely be back! (Gabrielle will understand!)

01/09/2026: Service was a little slow but the food was great. Toro sushi was melt in the mouth. The miso aubergine was delicious with a roasted flavor on the skin, I recommend it. The black cod was also delicious and a generous portion. The presentation was all very nice, and the outdoor seating was beautiful.
