A fantastic experience at Hippopotamus in Châtelet! The meat was excellent; I ordered a slightly rare steak, and it was perfectly cooked: tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I came with my son, and he loved his burger too. The service was friendly and quick, which is always appreciated when you have a child. We even took the rest to go because it was so good! 😄 I'll definitely be back!

This time the T-bone steak was well cooked and not medium, so they brought me a new one which was medium-rare, but whatever, there's no point in getting upset.

The meat was good, but it didn't look like 300g... cooked properly, and the all-you-can-eat side dishes were good. Lots of potatoes cooked in many different ways, and few other vegetables. Overall, good value for money.

28/04/2026: I celebrated my birthday in the downstairs bar/DJ area and it was really great. The setting is very charming and we had a wonderful evening right up until closing time! I made a reservation through Privateaser and we were a group of about thirty people.
