We had a great time at Hippopotamus. The waitstaff was friendly, and the food was served as quickly as possible. I recommend it.

Having been a frequent visitor and always received a warm welcome, this time was a different story. No one arrived after us, was served before us, and we felt like we were taking too long. We'd barely finished our appetizers when the meal was served, and as soon as we'd eaten the last of the fries, we already had to choose dessert. So, if you want to take your time, don't come here; you'll be rushed to finish your meal. It's a shame, I really enjoyed the old Hippopotamus.

16/05/2026: A fantastic place and a wonderful discovery. The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The meat was excellent and perfectly cooked, the starter was fresh and flavorful, and the desserts were generous (perhaps a little too generous after a starter and main course). The wines are also very good. I'll definitely be back. A nice touch is the fun menu; it really brings a cheerful atmosphere to the table. Thank you! ☺️

04/07/2026: Very spacious and family-friendly place. Attentive staff, although the service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious. It was like truly being back in Istanbul. I would go back a thousand times. Halal food, they don't sell alcohol.
