I had a fantastic lunch with my colleagues thanks to our amazing waiter, Romain! Honestly, it was my first time at L'Hippopotame, and I have nothing else to add except that I'll definitely be back to be served by Romain again. 12/08/2026: Incredible meat restaurant! My husband, his family, and I had an amazing experience. Every cut was cooked to absolute perfection, and the meat quality was top-tier. While it is on the pricier side, the food is so good you really can't complain. The portions are generous—we were so full we unfortunately couldn't save room for dessert, which was a shame!

18/07/2026: A warm welcome, just like the people of eastern France know how to offer, and cuisine worthy of Alsatian grandmothers. Eating sauerkraut in the summer was a pleasure and a feast; even the presence of the oven for the flammekueche was a welcome touch despite the heat. I felt like I was dining at the home of friends who know how to cook and host exceptionally well. Undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Toulouse's Colombette district...
05/06/2026: Seriously, if you want to enjoy a good Alsatian tarte flambée, I highly recommend it, it was truly delicious.
