An establishment frequented for several years by colleagues.
Pleasant decor, exquisite cuisine, well located between the Palais Royal and Les Halles metro stations.
Jean-Michel MATHIEU PARIS.
The decor is straight out of the 1980s, a typical faux-fancy wood-paneled Chinese joint, but the food is quite decent. Is not the best Hong Kong food you'll ever have, but is simple, no-frills classical fare. Perfectly good if you just want your hot&sour soup, beef chow mein or five spice duck fix.
Umsik is a little salty. The spring rolls and soup were good, but the dim sum was terrible. The beef rice bowl was okay, but the fried noodles were overcooked. ㅜㅜ
Small, fairly good restaurant in Paris, not the best I've had the opportunity to try. But the broth was good and the spring rolls were good too. I'm removing one star because I found the noodles to be of lower quality. Otherwise stock menu broth + beer €18.80 correct in my opinion but not cheap either.
