Hostellerie Du Château De La Côte Restaurant sur Biras

A superb, well-maintained castle where we slept peacefully in a beautiful room. The restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. Friendly staff. We spent three nights in the room with access to the top of the keep, which overlooks the property. A must-do at least once in a lifetime (this was our second time).

The drive through the country side was already worth the visit but once you come around the corner and this beautiful chateau comes into view it is absolutely spectacular. Very peaceful and nice. Enjoyed the pool and a nice dinner outside during a very nice and mild evening. Very spacious rooms with old fashioned chateau decorations. Yes, the bathrooms are not the newest anymore but work well. Overall it was a great experience and I can very much recommend to spend a night here. Staff was very helpful and friendly and even with my non-excisting French skills ☺️ it was no problem to communicate.

5 stars for the food and 2 stars for the sleeping arrangements (bowl bed) – the mattress was soft and deformed!!!

A wonderful place with everything nearby (pool, spa, restaurant, bar) and so many more activities! We stayed two nights, which is the minimum to truly enjoy the estate. It was a little sad to leave so soon... The staff was equally lovely, thoughtfully showing us a wonderful room for our romantic getaway. The upkeep and decor were impeccable, both inside and out! This is an address we will treasure, recommend, and return to as soon as possible. We were delighted by this little castle experience, in a peaceful and magnificent setting. Close to equally charming villages (Brantôme, Bourdeilles, etc.). All this for excellent value for money; I recommend it 1000%!

This stay was part of a business trip, and what a wonderful surprise! The setting of Château de la Côte is simply magnificent, ideal for recharging after a day's work. But what truly makes the difference is the welcome: the staff are exceptionally kind, always smiling, available, and attentive. You immediately feel at ease. As for the restaurant, it's a real gem. The cuisine is excellent, refined, and generous, with high-quality ingredients showcased to perfection. Every meal was a true pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, whether for business or leisure. I will definitely be back!
