A bit pricey for the rooms. But that's perhaps due to the location. Beautiful view and everything was clean.

The young couple goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, offering impeccable rooms (bedding, linens, decor, cleanliness) and a restaurant featuring fresh, local produce. The ratings are obviously subjective and I needed to rate just 3 stars for the room as I was having the booking.com impression of a more boutique style hotel. Not a problem. Small room, hardly a queen bed for us; I can't tell how the other rooms are equipped. Bunk bed. AC very helpful with the temperatures we had to experience. Small or tiny bath but working. The hosts are not professionals, so do not expect the level of service you maybe accustomed to when hosted at Hilton & Co. But everyone was really nice and helpful. They pull a leg for you to get you comfortable and served. No wonder a rating portal has listed the place as top rated for several years. Ask anything you like! And plan to dine there too. Having breakfast is so relaxing; citizens walk by and you recognize them the 2nd morning. "Bonjour mes dames et messieurs!" Just enjoy the calmness and detached location while some meters up in the mountains!

The locals and the owner were very nice. Parking was tight and difficult, but free. The room was quite small for two people, but overall I highly recommend the hotel.

A charming little hotel and restaurant in a small village in the hills above Nice, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The atmosphere is gentle, pleasant, and peaceful (except on World Cup nights ;-) ). The presence of a Free French flag on the facade during our stay was a delightful touch, adding a hint of France's liberation in 1945, giving it a timeless feel, in addition to the symbolic value it holds, which I appreciate, in this sun-drenched French square. It was unexpected. The atmosphere here is cheerful and happy. The bed is comfortable, and the hotel has all the necessary amenities for an excellent stay. However, the privacy between the bedroom and bathroom might seem a little limited (noise...) in our room, but this is compensated for by the quality of the tasteful renovations. The meals are generous and truly delicious. The staff is welcoming, and you can feel that people love to gather here, given the lively atmosphere and the diverse conversations taking place. And getting here requires some effort, navigating the numerous hairpin bends and blind corners that lead to the spot. With a large, heavily loaded motorcycle, you need to give it plenty of room, hoping that drivers coming down the road will have the good sense to slow down. A beautiful and very pleasant place to disconnect from the world and access the surrounding hiking trails. A special thank you for the smiles and warm welcome from the staff. We were delighted to stop at your establishment in Berre-les-Alpes.

The service and management were very pleasant, the food was of excellent quality with generous portions, and the location is lovely, offering a magnificent view. I highly recommend it!
