Hotel de la Gare sur Mezidon-Canon

Excellent stay We spent two nights at this hotel and were very satisfied with our stay. The room was a good size, with a very comfortable king-size bed. The room was impeccably clean upon our arrival. A big plus was the electric shutters, which allowed for total darkness in the morning—truly wonderful for a good night's sleep! The room was also very quiet and easily accessible, especially since it was on the ground floor. We also appreciated the option of adding an extra bed or a crib, which is very convenient when traveling with a child. The setting is pleasant, with games available for children. A comfortable and convenient family-run hotel where we had a very pleasant stay. However, banging on the door at 10:10 a.m. without a greeting, to tell us to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m., was a complete lack of courtesy.

The restaurant was perfectly fine, the waitress was very nice, but the owner's friendliness left something to be desired. She yelled at her cook in front of the customers and let regulars take precedence over others.

The hotel was very close, quiet, with very good bedding and attentive staff; I had a very good stay.

We came for dinner on a whim. Excellent meal for €16. Starter, main course, and dessert made with fresh ingredients. The owner is friendly!

The waitress was quite nice, but the owner was not at all. Not even a goodbye or thank you upon leaving the establishment, despite several polite attempts… however, the food was decent, hence the second star; the third star is for the waitress, who was rather poorly treated by the owner.

Very well received and responsive

We spent the night here with the band. The rooms are spacious and clean and are fully equipped. We were able to park the cars in a secure area behind the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended. But all in all, the impression is great. The owner was very helpful and hospitable.

Excellent, top-notch, very welcoming, generous and delicious meals, lots of choice, and great prices. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the private parking was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The owner is very kind and pleasant, I highly recommend it, it's really cool. I love the amazing dishes and puzzles. If I had to feed my friend, I'd feed them here. Best couscous of my life, I felt like I was back home. We love you! ❤️
