Hotel du Moulin des Ruats sur Pontaubert

It's a charming place in all weather, the staff are incredibly kind. The meals are truly excellent. A real gem!

Absolutely flawless. It has to be said that for the price, everything is perfect! And what a place—so incredibly relaxing!

A very pretty, clean, and comfortable room. The setting is idyllic. Excellent breakfast. However, my mother and I stayed at the hotel over Valentine's Day weekend. The set menu was therefore mandatory. Furthermore, the welcome booklet highlighted the cake counter, which was open every day from 2 pm. However, on that day, the waiter told us that tea and cake were unavailable due to Valentine's Day and offered no alternative. The overall service is not up to the hotel's standard. We regret that the staff does not adapt to guest requests.

Our second stay at this exceptional place, and the magic is still there. Spacious rooms and charming little welcome touches. The bedding is exceptional. The generous breakfast delights us with delicious homemade products. Dinner was also enchanting from the first bite to the last… all served by a welcoming and very friendly staff. This establishment is a gem in our beautiful Burgundy.

We received a very warm welcome at Moulin des Ruats. The rooms have all the necessary comforts: a shower and bathtub for us, as we were in a triple room, a TV, a separate toilet, and a very comfortable king-size bed. The meal on December 31st was exquisite. The wine pairing was perfect. We discovered surprising and delicious flavors and combinations! We were able to take our time over dinner to wish each other a Happy New Year properly, which was much appreciated. We will definitely return in the warmer months; the place must be very pleasant.

We came as four couples for New Year's Eve 2025, but unfortunately, we were cold throughout the entire meal despite the addition of a small heater! Some dishes lacked seasoning and were barely warm (which is a shame, as that would have been nice). We were disappointed that the owners didn't come to wish us a Happy New Year! What a pity!
