This is the second year in a row that we've been meeting up with friends at the mill. The welcome and service were very pleasant, as was the ambiance of the cozy lounge and the dining room, which was perfectly remodeled. The outdoor setting offers a beautiful countryside ambiance. The dinner was beautifully served and delicious. As for breakfast, it's worth the detour! The hotel aspect could be improved a little, especially in the communal areas, but honestly, this place will be a great place for a future stay.

Our experience at Le Moulin was so enjoyable that we decided to book a second night for our return trip. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant also deserves a special mention: the cuisine is excellent, with sophisticated flavor combinations and the use of seasonal ingredients. But it was the entirely homemade breakfast that truly surprised us. This establishment will undoubtedly become our go-to place on our future trips to the region.

Le Moulin de Ruats is nestled in a magnificent setting. The terrace overlooks the stream and offers a haven of peace. The parking behind the large gate ensures peace of mind. The room, although small, is very comfortable and clean, with comfortable beds and a pleasant bathroom. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The menu offers a wide selection of tempting dishes, and the quality of the food is exceptional. A thoughtfully chosen wine list makes selecting a meal particularly enjoyable. Breakfast is among the best we have ever had. The service is attentive and warm, and you immediately feel at home. We can't wait to return!

This charming hotel and restaurant, nestled in a former watermill beside a stream in a secluded valley near Avallon, offers an idyllic setting for a romantic getaway. It's incredibly peaceful, chic, and romantic. You're immersed in nature, surrounded by the gentle murmur of the stream, hikers, and the lush greenery. The restaurant, with its gourmet touch, is absolutely delicious! The dishes are beautifully presented and flavorful, and the service is friendly and efficient. Try to book one of the two deluxe rooms with a terrace overlooking the stream.

Go for it without hesitation if: - you're looking for peace and quiet and a relaxing setting (the hotel is nestled by a river, truly lovely and a real change of scenery) - you're looking for quality food (especially the generous breakfast) - you enjoy ecotourism (Morvan Regional Natural Park, numerous castles, charming surrounding villages) The staff is also very friendly, and the rooms are excellent! (especially the bathroom and bedding) I highly recommend it!
