Thank you again for your warm and friendly welcome, while remaining professional. We were upgraded. The hotel is very clean, the room pleasant with a beautiful view. The breakfast was very complete with a wide selection. The fireplace in the lounge was a very welcome addition. The spa, the heated outdoor pool—everything is there for a pleasant stay. We'll be back!

We had an incredible weekend in Les Gets, having stumbled upon Nicolas's magnificent hotel. Everything was perfect: the warm and friendly welcome, the ideal spa session after a long day of skiing, the excellent dinner, the comfortable and beautifully decorated room, and the superb breakfast. We'll gladly come back to chat about sports and cars next time we're in the area.

We spent a week at the hotel as a birthday present, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very well located, a 5-minute walk from the resort center, ideal for an evening stroll. The hotel is very pleasant and cozy. The rooms are clean, the bedding is comfortable, and you sleep well and quietly. The buffet breakfast has everything you could want, with plenty of choice in both savory and sweet options, and the meals are very good, beautifully presented, with generous portions and good value for money. In the evening, you can have a drink at the bar in a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. The hotel has a relaxation area with indoor and outdoor pools, a jacuzzi, a sauna, etc. It's very pleasant after a day of skiing or hiking. We also tried their spa, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel (Les Sources du Chery), which I also recommend. Finally, the staff and management are extremely kind and know how to welcome their guests and offer helpful advice. If you are looking for a place to sleep peacefully with good value for money then I highly recommend you come to Labrador 1971.

Restaurant Crychar

07/03/2026: The hotel is very well located on the slopes. The restaurant is very good and the spa is excellent. We booked the family suite, which cost us a fortune (€2400 for 3 nights), and frankly, at that price, we expected a slightly higher-end service: no amenities, the sitting area was reduced to two small armchairs, one of the sinks didn't work, the coffee machine and cups weren't changed daily, the terrace overlooked the parking lot, and the staff was not very available… so, a bit disappointed!
25/02/2026: I very rarely give 5 stars but this hotel was so perfect for our holiday, I couldn't fault anything and therefore its very deserving. The location is ideal with a boot room that opens out directly onto a slope which takes you down to the main cable cars. It was about a 10-15 minute walk downhill, with a slow toddler,(quicker if skiing down), but it made the main town area more accessible than if we walked down the various roads at the front of the hotel. The views from the hotel were lovely, we were fortunate to be able to see some of the slopes from our bathroom window which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very family friendly and is run by an actual family who together with their staff members were so friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. We went with a 1 year old toddler who enjoyed running around the hotel and everyone was very patient and lovely about it, when he became a bit too unsettled during diner times in the main room, arrangements were made for us to eat separately in the "lounge room" which helped him feel more relaxed and allowed us as parents to enjoy our meal. Speaking of which, the food was varied, satisfying and incredibly tasty, we opted for half board and dinner was a set menu one night with a special option the following night and so on. On the specials nights we managed to try raclette, fondue and an amazing duck. Breakfast was also of a very high quality with a good variety of items, I still think about the french toast which was a joy to have each morning. I appreciated the breakfast not feeling like a mass market buffet and it felt as if the dishes were prepared thoughtfully. The spa area and pool were a great bonus and our room layout itself was functional and cosy. The alpine charm was felt throughout the hotel. If considering a stay I would highly recommend this gem.

la Fruitière des Perrières

19/06/2026: We visited this cheese shop on June 19, 2026. First, we encountered a rather unfriendly woman... This was the woman who served us. We asked if we could taste some, and she handed us a small glass container with pieces of cheese, telling us they were all mixed together... so it was impossible to tell which was which, and she wasn't willing to cut any more. Anyway, we asked for a small piece of Beaufort cheese. She showed us what she was about to cut, and we told her we wanted something smaller. She moved her knife and cut without asking us to confirm if it was okay... obviously, the piece was enormous... at 38 euros a kilo! Next, we decided to try the Alpine cheese. A piece had already been cut, but it seemed too big, so we asked her to cut it in half. She said no, she was going to cut it directly from the wheel. In the end, she cut twice the amount we asked for without even asking if we were happy with it... We then bought some Reblochon cheeses individually; luckily, there was no way we could be ripped off. In short, we ended up paying 60 euros for cheese without even a small discount. Despite this, the cheeses are very good, but be careful not to get ripped off on the quantities.
10/06/2026: What a wonderful experience we had during our visit! We learned so much about the artisanal cheesemaking process. Perfect!
