Hôtel Restaurant Au Lion Rouge sur Bartenheim

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Italy. The car could charge overnight (book in advance). We also booked dinner in advance and had a delicious meal. Breakfast is also well catered for. We had the standard room 5 times; it was very clean and had nice new bathrooms.

Beautiful, modern hotel, very clean, welcoming and very friendly staff, lovely room with a modern bathroom. Everything is great, it's just a shame the breakfast (basic buffet) isn't up to the same standard.

A very pleasant hotel. We greatly appreciated the staff's friendliness, the availability of gluten-free bread at breakfast, their helpfulness, the soundproofing of the room, and the overall quality of the service. However, not having at least a box of tissues and a bottle of water in the room is the bare minimum one would expect in any 3-star hotel. Furthermore, charging us €3.50 for 50cl of tap water (similar to a SodaStream bottle) when we requested a large bottle of lightly sparkling water is simply unacceptable! It's a shame, but these details really disappointed us.

A very pleasant stay, with very courteous and efficient staff. The location is excellent and easily accessible. The only suggestion for improvement would be a bottle of water in the room upon arrival. The restaurant was excellent and plentiful, with a very good selection of dishes. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next road trip.

It was a delicious dinner; the ingredients were fresh, and the meat was incredibly tender. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you to the excellent waiter, chef, and kitchen staff. I highly recommend it.
