What a wonderful discovery!! We've lived in the area all our lives, but had never had the chance to eat here – it was only after a business lunch for our son that we decided to celebrate my 60th birthday here. And we weren't disappointed: absolutely EVERYTHING was perfect! Starting with the setting, which was both chic and welcoming, the staff, who were as friendly and attentive as they were efficient, the selection of local and specialty beers, the menus that truly offer a wealth of choices, everything we tasted, from the appetizers to the desserts – and the icing on the cake: all at unbeatable prices! Since yesterday, La Gare aux Gourmets (which is so aptly named!) has been at the top of our list of restaurants we'll always return to with pleasure. Our only regret: not having discovered it sooner!!

Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. Aperitifs, starter, main course, dessert, and a carafe of wine for €90 for two people on a Sunday lunchtime.

Staying in Mers-les-Bains, I randomly chose a restaurant for lunch based on reviews, and honestly, go for it! But definitely make a reservation. Good value for money. Very good food, good quality ingredients. Fast, but not too fast, service. Welcoming and friendly staff.

A truly delicious experience. The service was excellent; we really appreciated being able to find out who ordered what, even though the order was taken by someone else. And the food was a real treat—thank you to the chef and his team!
