Hotel Restaurant L'Air Marin sur Yves

The hotel and restaurant were very clean and the staff very pleasant. Upon entering, there was a lovely dining room, and at the back, a large, very pleasant and spacious room. I celebrated my birthday there with a little over 40 people, and everything went very well. They gave excellent advice on drinks. Good value for money. Well-organized, on time, and the meal was very good and plentiful. The guests appreciated the rooms, the welcome, and the generous breakfast. Highly recommended.

It's a roadside restaurant, but the food is very good. The service is very friendly. Unbeatable value for money.

We came for a golf tournament and were welcomed with the utmost care. A huge thank you for your kindness and the exceptional service; it was truly appreciated. The pool was lovely, the rooms very clean, and the evening meals excellent. In short, we had a wonderful time.

The restaurant was very good, but we deducted one star because we found some inappropriate and mocking behavior from the person working behind the bar towards the trainee waiter, even though he did his job very well. Our visit was on August 28, 2026.

Restaurant/bar: excellent service and a very good meal considering the price, no complaints at all, and the bar staff were fantastic. Hotel: the room was fine for two, but there was no Wi-Fi access in our room and only three TV channels worked. Otherwise, everything was great, and the staff were good. The pool and terrace were very nice. The parking was excellent with plenty of spaces. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and offered a good selection.

Beautiful, spacious room with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, large bathroom. Lovely pool. Good food. Large parking area. No road noise at all. Very pleasant and friendly staff.

The hotel is located near a small village (Yves), 20 minutes from La Rochelle and 10 minutes from Châtelaillon, via an easily accessible straight road. There isn't much around, so a car is useful for getting around. The parking lot is spacious (especially for trucks, etc.). The service is good, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The room was clean and well-equipped, and I didn't hear any noise from the neighbors. The hotel is close to the main road, so you can hear some traffic, but overall it's quiet. The pool is a good temperature and gets plenty of sunshine from 11:00 AM onwards, right after breakfast, which is simple but decent with a good variety of options. The value for money is good: I paid a good price for 3 nights, during a relatively quiet period, ideal for relaxing.
