Good morning, I come back to tell you about my 7-day stay at the Hotel “Le bon Laboureur” at Charité sur Loire. I said I would take more time to go see this charming corner of France in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. The owners are quite young, they have taken over the family business, the whole family is involved in everything, very family-oriented people who know what a welcome should be like. Neat and affordable hotel, quiet and relaxing room I only paid 72 euros per day with breakfast included, I might as well tell you that I'm going back another year because I enjoyed it a lot more, it's definitely quite easy than letting yourself be lulled by the sweetness of a summer month. I might as well tell you that I was not mistaken and that my stay was most pleasant, already with the weather, my bike rides every morning along the Loire to Sancerre, of course I did more than 300 km by bicycle all around this beautiful city to see better, understand better and, as usual, have wonderful encounters, there was no shortage of wonderful encounters. The hotel is more of a passing hotel, but I stayed there to take a real vacation and do nothing. It's very easy to let yourself be lulled by the Dolce Vita The morning after the shower I was longing around 9:00 a.m. to find the breakfast that I was happily waiting for Each product was regional but carefully selected it's a small thing but for me very important, afterwards I went by bike to visit the surroundings of this charming town, it's a super pretty corner of France, in the evening I went out to eat here and there but I met Amandine on the first day in the morning of my stay by the pure joy of chance which subsequently practically took up all my evenings and that's another story that I will tell you next time "Chez Zouzou" Thanks for reading me

Good quality hotel, nice breakfast, location on the banks of the bucolic Loire. Very warm welcome and dogs accepted. If we go back to charity we will come back to it

The person at reception more than friendly. We can't blame him for that. The first room allocated to us was located right on the side of the road (impossible to leave the window open, no air conditioning and smelled so much of cigarettes that the receptionist upgraded us without any problem. Thank you. The second room was much larger and better located because it overlooks the garden. On the other hand, in terms of cleanliness, a little effort needs to be made. Lots of spider webs, dust and dirty floors (black feet immediately) the bathroom needs a huge overhaul. of renewal in terms of the walls covered with peeling wallpaper and yellowing paint. The shower to be replaced would not be a luxury. The next morning breakfast. A little, not even very expensive for the content. The 12 euros for that I say no.
