Hotel-Restaurant Le Saint Gillois sur Saint-Gilles

We were a group who booked several rooms this weekend, and unfortunately, all the rooms had no heating, and the air conditioning blew cold air. We were cold all night, even with a blanket. One room didn't have a blanket, and another didn't have toilet paper. Parking was available, and the breakfast was adequate.

Delighted to have stumbled upon this little hotel-restaurant (set back from the main street) for lunch one day. Simple, good food in a friendly, family atmosphere. Pleasant staff and a reasonable bill.

Great place. Small hotels like you don't find many anymore. Very helpful. The restaurant is very good... the prawns are a treat! Well located. Quiet night with a street-facing room. Secure bike parking.

Perfect service, reasonable price

While passing through Saint-Gilles, I happened to visit this restaurant. Very friendly welcome, well-located terrace, in the town center, but set back from the street. I ate an excellent prime rib accompanied by very good homemade fries (good fries should be the norm, but they're rare!) at a very reasonable price! There's a very affordable menu that the customers around me really appreciated.

My stay at the St-Gillois hotel went very well. Warm welcome and extremely kind and accommodating staff. The food was simple, good and homemade at a reasonable price. I slept very well, the room was simple, clean and quiet with a light air conditioning, welcome in this season. I will put a downside but the hotel is designed like that, it is the access to the rooms which is not easy for people who have a mobility problem. The access staircase is long and with a steep slope specific to the old building. In any case I will return to St Gilles and the St Gillois.

The food is very, very good! And the menu is really not expensive!

I highly recommend it, quality products, very pleasant welcome. We will be back.

A simple and efficient hotel. The restaurant is interesting. The staff is happy to welcome you. The dishes are very well prepared, using local products. The craft beer, the local wine, and the rice from St. Gilles. The people of St. Gilles that we met are friendly and respectful of the highway code. A pleasure to travel.
