I tried a tray of fries: soggy, greasy, and white—in short, what I call dead fries. Otherwise, the place is very nice, quite secluded, so there's no competition for the other establishments near the campsite: all the reviews struggle to reach 3.5/5.
Ideal spot for a picnic!
Absolutely fantastic! We arrived outside of opening hours, but the staff still went above and beyond to make us chicken and fries. We were able to warm up and take shelter from the rain. I highly recommend it.
It's so sad to see the place is closed. We loved this family-run establishment; the chef was fantastic and very kind. The restaurant is evolving, just like the campsite. Hopefully, the future restaurant will remain affordable for everyone. To be continued...
