This brasserie offers the best value for money near Saint-Charles train station. The food is consistently high quality, and the prices are a bit high, but reasonable considering its location next to the station. The service is quick and impeccable. I've been going there regularly for 10 years, and the quality hasn't declined; on the contrary, it has. Thank you to the whole team! Long live Caffe San Carlo!

We've been coming here for several years now. Very welcoming, fast service, fresh and delicious food. Our friendly waiter, A..., is a big reason we keep coming back.

Conveniently located right in front of the train station. Good service and efficient staff. There's a room for groups under the station. The food was very good. Our entire group of five (seated on the covered terrace for shade, with a fresh breeze thanks to the openings...) enjoyed their meals: the two daily specials, the turkey escalopes, and a salad. The desserts (crème brûlée) were adequate; a touch more char would have been nice.

I left a very positive review a few years ago, but after several visits, I have to say that things have declined somewhat. The service is mechanical, unenthusiastic, and soulless, and the kitchen seems to be on autopilot. There's no longer any real care taken in cooking the dishes. It's a real shame.

This is the second time I've eaten lunch here before catching my train. Excellent, fast service and a great menu. I highly recommend it.

Only two visits and I regret not having tried it sooner. Friendly and quick service. Worth the trip from the train station. For example, nobody listens to music here without headphones... rude people don't seem to be a problem. Very good coffee and croissants at a reasonable price for the place and service. A warm and friendly welcome. A limited menu, but that only adds up to good food. No need for 50 dishes and 50 desserts. Here, at least, it's fresh and delicious. I recommend it!

For a drink while you wait for the train... why not? There's no IPA, just beer that tastes like water 💦
