Recommended by colleagues, Il Vaporetto proves to be a delightful Italian restaurant just beyond the bustle of the city. Visiting as a group of three, we opted for a fish fillet salad, chicken spaghetti in tomato sauce, and a seafood pasta, accompanied by a shared bottle of red wine. The dishes were simple yet executed with confidence—fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, and generous portions. The seafood pasta stood out in particular, rich without being overwhelming, while the chicken tomato spaghetti offered comforting familiarity done right. What truly elevates the experience is the setting and hospitality. The owner’s warm welcome sets the tone, and with a lake park just outside, the atmosphere is calm, quiet, and effortlessly relaxing. It’s an ideal spot for an unhurried meal, where good food and a peaceful environment come together seamlessly.

Excellent pizza! The Italian-style crust is perfect, just the way I like it. The service is impeccable. Definitely worth trying!

The food was excellent! But the service was appalling. The waitress was standing frozen behind us, staring, demanding we finish eating, and was in a hurry to close the restaurant (and I should mention it was 9 pm...). The atmosphere was very awkward. Not a smile, no communication. It's a real shame considering the quality of the food.
