Very friendly, and the food is delicious!

My daughter and I just dropped by for a quick bite due to train delay. Just wanna say the staff are very helpful, friendly and polite ;)

The staff was friendly and patient with my miserable attempts at French. Ordered several pastries and a croque monsieur. Having ordered these in Paris where a single slice of cheese and ham is the norm, I was unprepared for this triple decker delight stuffed with ham and emmental cheese. I could only eat half and saved the second half for a lovely breakfast the next day.

The "traditional" baguette was absolutely delicious.

I bought a rustic loaf from Rose Bakery; the crumb was very dense and heavy, probably because they forgot the yeast or sourdough starter. It wasn't good at all; I was very disappointed. However, their spelt bread is good. They were out of spelt, which is why I bought a rustic loaf. The recipe needs to be reviewed, Mr. Baker...

The saleswomen are very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the pastries seem to be frozen, but the red fruit crumble tart is good.

The spelt bread is fantastic! In the pastry section, the choux pastry version of the lemon meringue pie is a complete success: absolutely delicious!
