Close to the Jardin des Plantes / Natural History Museum, we discovered this place by chance to eat between two visits and what a nice surprise! 😇 We took the tasting boat and had a blast! The service is absolutely perfect, the people who run this restaurant are of a kindness that lifts the heart and that is becoming so rare. So if you want to eat Japanese food near the Jardin des Plantes, go there!

Very warm welcome and good time spent in this small restaurant. The homemade ravioli are excellent and the hostess was very attentive. A repeat without hesitation.

Fantastic food and superior service tonight at Ishin. What a gem of a place! Amazing variety of sushi as well as hot food items - excellent combo deals and I was able to get unagi (anguille). The fabulous host treated us to extra sushi as well as a delicious home-made dessert "torade". Highly recommend you try Ishin.
