Isles de Stel sur Aigues-Mortes

A cruise definitely worth taking. We appreciated the explanations given by our hostess Lolita on the boat and the demonstration of bull sorting by the herdsmen of Mas de la Comtesse during the visit to the ranch. An excellent experience.

Unfortunately, I found the website somewhat misleading. The 2-hour tour shows a picture of a covered boat, leading us to believe we'd be on that one. However, the tour actually uses an open-sided boat. The covered boat is only available for the tour that includes a meal. The trip itself is quite nice, but given the consistent scenery, the shorter 1.5-hour tour is probably perfectly sufficient. On board, drinks can only be purchased with cash. The commentary is only in French, but there are handouts with translations in various languages. The visit to the Manade was quite interesting, but again, there was no translation. At least you can pay by card at the kiosk there.

Camargue evening at €53 per person, it's fantastic! Boat trip followed by an evening visit to a bull ranch and a meal with gardiane de taureau (bull stew). Excellent value for money.

A very pleasant way to visit the ramparts, salt marshes, canals, the Camargue, and even a farmhouse. Plus, you're greeted at the ticket office by Florine, who is smiling, bubbly, patient, and super professional. Don't change a thing, Florine, you're the best! 👍

We had a wonderful time; there were seven of us, and we all agree! The meal was very good, a set menu for €47 (August 6, 2026). The entertainer was very professional; we loved her energy and friendly manner. Thanks again to the whole team for this great time.
