Passing through Valence between trains, I stopped there on both my outbound and return journeys. The meat was excellent, and I know my kebabs. I highly recommend it.

Very friendly welcome. Quick service. Clean establishment. But most importantly, the meat is fantastic. You can really taste the veal (not the bland, frozen chicken you find almost everywhere these days). No, this is a real, quality kebab right across from the train station. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've tried many kebab restaurants; this one isn't bad, but there were quite a few pieces of fat in the veal. The service was good.

So-so, a big kebab but not a great treat. The meat is really not very good and rather rubbery, which is a shame considering it's right across from the train station... Perhaps I regret not finding the same flavors of kebab in Istanbul, where I went after a several-month stay in Turkey. Nevertheless, all the best!

22/03/2026: Nice pub and tasty beers, attended a fun performance by a local band on Saturday night, really cool atmosphere... We had a great time!
15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.
