18/10/2026: Fifteen or sixteen years ago, a dinner at Les Cèdres earned a permanent place among the finest meals of my life. Returning this year, I half-expected memory to have embellished it. It hadn’t. A superb lunch confirmed every recollection. What memory had not held on to was the service, some of the most accomplished hospitality I have encountered anywhere. Jean-Paul Bertrand conducts the room with a precision you never see at work: the pacing, the attentiveness, the quiet anticipation, all tuned to the guest rather than to ceremony. Yet nothing feels rehearsed. There is real warmth in it, a human touch that turns flawless service into a genuine welcome. You are not managed through a meal. You are received, as though the house had been expecting you. Then there is the house’s best-kept secret, the wine list. It is one of the finest I have read, the kind a serious drinker studies cover to cover before even opening the menu. It is reason enough to return, and not in another fifteen years. I’ll be going back every year from now on.

19/09/2026: We had a very pleasant evening. "The girls" are a fantastic duo who work together beautifully. First, in the kitchen, where the dishes are carefully prepared and sophisticated, with surprising yet delicious combinations. A real treat for the taste buds. Then there's Laura, the head waitress... bubbly, smiling, spontaneous, and attentive. A true ray of sunshine. The setting is lovely, a small, intimate, and authentic courtyard. We were with a 6-month-old baby, and Laura made things easy for us throughout the meal. We highly recommend this establishment and these wonderful people. Keep up the good work!

Everything was flavorful and expertly prepared. The prices are quite reasonable and very fair considering the quality of the food. Excellent value for money! I highly recommend this place!

We chose the 10-course tasting menu at La Fontaine l'Artiste et le Cuisiner, and what a treat… from appetizer to dessert, everything was absolutely perfect! The cuisine is bold, original, and full of surprises, truly elevating each ingredient. The combinations are daring, the flavors are crafted with finesse, and each dish is a genuine discovery. The service mirrors the cuisine: warm, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A huge congratulations to the entire team for this superb moment. 18/09/2026: As a regular customer for many years, I've never thought to leave a review, but I'm finally doing so today. This little restaurant is a must-try in Montélimar for sushi lovers. The restaurant is very quiet and clean, the prices are reasonable, the owner is incredibly kind, and the sushi is delicious 😋 You can go there without hesitation.
