We had a wonderful time at this establishment, now run by a talented young chef and his partner. The cuisine is developing beautifully, offering excellent value for money – a gourmet restaurant that's definitely worth trying.

Disappointed by the Lobster menu compared to last year's. The lobster tail was slightly undercooked, and in fact, this new lobster menu is less generous than last year's, which is a shame.

Discovered the "new" Jean des Sables today at lunchtime: a warm welcome from the new manager, a magnificent ocean view, and a refreshing breeze on the shaded terrace—so pleasant in this heatwave. A €45 set menu, light, delicate, and flavorful. Special mention goes to the desserts: the roasted apricot and the chocolate cake are particularly delicious.

We had dinner on the evening of July 12th and everything was perfect.
The chef recently moved to Hossegor after working at Le Cheval Blanc in Paris...
We thoroughly enjoyed the all-lobster menu, and our 14-year-old son loved the surprise menu.
The staff is very pleasant.
The service is seamless, and the location facing the ocean is simply incredible.
The dining room is air-conditioned, which was very welcome in the heat.

The warm interior contrasts sharply with the austere exterior of the building. The friendly service at Compaq perfectly complements the three six-course menus, all of which were delicious – a very enjoyable experience.

While passing through Hossegor, we discovered this restaurant, recently taken over by a young couple. I was tempted by the "À fleur d'écume" menu and the chef's promise to keep the contents a secret to preserve the surprise. He certainly succeeded.
I was amazed by each dish, as much by the finesse of the preparation as by the bursts of flavor and the sometimes unexpected, yet always perfectly balanced, combinations. Each course offered its own share of discoveries and delights.
We had a wonderful time, thanks to the quality of the cuisine, the warm atmosphere, and the attentive service. A truly wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine gastronomic experience.

The best view in town.
Restaurant under new ownership with an ambitious, young new chef. Then6 course menu was exquisite. Clearly 1star level. 3 menus to choose from. Excellent level of cuisine. A step-up!! We loved it and will go back very soon.
Service attentive but still a bit insecure.
