We took a self-guided tour of the castle, accompanied by an audio guide. Since we arrived right at opening time, it was quite crowded. I would have preferred it to be quieter later. However, at that time of day, there's still a good chance of finding a parking spot at the castle.

A must-see if you're in Selestadt or a neighboring town like Colmar. It's a wonderful experience, both for its beautiful surroundings and everything it offers. Plus, the price is very reasonable for what it provides, so it's definitely worth including in your itinerary. A charming place where you can enjoy yourself, explore, and take home a lovely memory. Highly recommended!

The castle is impressive in its size. I was a little disappointed that most of it dates from an early 20th-century renovation, borrowing elements from European castles.
It's also extremely crowded, making the visit inside cramped and not always pleasant, especially when there's a lot of noise and the guides are shouting to keep people quiet.

The view was superb and the staff truly welcoming; I highly recommend this Alsatian gem!
