The restaurant is ideally located, not far from the metro and close to many hotels. The food is very good and carefully prepared; I highly recommend it!
Three stars, but that's a good rating. Honestly, I compared the options near Rue de Tarbé. There's a Thai bistro, but looking at the menu, it's too heavily influenced by French cuisine. And others whose menus promised disappointment. This restaurant appealed to me because of its menu and its bold flavors. I know Thailand, so obviously you can't expect to be there or make direct comparisons. But honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The coconut milk and chili were exactly to my liking. So yes, I recommend it. And the couple who own the restaurant are charming and very welcoming. For dessert: the mango-coconut jelly; the portion is perfect for two people. The texture is delicate and delicious.
I've been coming here for years and I'm never disappointed. The food is good and inexpensive, the service is excellent—both warm and discreet—the decor is delightfully kitsch, and in the evening there are more takeaway orders than people in the dining room, so you can actually hear each other talk and it's not exhausting.
In short, I come back again and again, and I'll definitely come back again.
