A true gem of Lebanese gastronomy I had the privilege of discovering this Lebanese restaurant, and it was an absolutely remarkable experience, both in terms of taste and personal touch. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into a refined setting, where understated elegance blends harmoniously with oriental authenticity. Each dish we tasted was a true ode to the flavors of Lebanon: delicately flavored mezze, exquisitely smooth hummus, incomparably fresh tabbouleh, and perfectly mastered grilled dishes. The finesse of the seasonings testifies to a rare expertise, imbued with passion and respect for culinary traditions. The impeccable service combines professionalism, kindness, and in-depth knowledge of the dishes offered. The team is attentive without being intrusive, and readily provides sound advice to guide guests in their gastronomic discovery. A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team for this gourmet interlude that transports us, for the duration of a meal, to the heart of Lebanon. A precious address that I wholeheartedly recommend to any lover of generous, refined, and sincere cuisine.

A must-see and an institution in Rouen, the quality is there, and we feast on specialties, each more delicious than the last, at reasonable prices! Bravo to you!

If you know the Place St Marc market on Sunday morning, you pass by the food stalls and you haven't come across Le Joubeil, it's time to catch up with the restaurant. As we wanted to discover Lebanese food, what could be better than doing it in a Lebanese restaurant and Le Joubeil is perfect for that. We chose a Mezzeh to share and clearly, even if you have a good appetite, I challenge you to have a dessert afterwards because this one is so hearty. First of all, the waitress gives us cold starters/mains including excellent Hommos, Tabbouleh rich in parsley and tomatoes, well seasoned and Laban, a Lebanese yogurt with pieces of cucumber and a touch of oil which I fell in love with. For hot dishes, we had meat and cheese rikakat (the one with meat was rather average and the one with cheese was very salty), kebbé (a ball of minced meat and bulgur stuffed with spices which enhances the taste, the meat not feeling very much), falafels (perfect), Kefta skewers (spicy beef which is not necessarily my preference), Chichtaouk skewers (top) as well as bread Lebanese. An excellent discovery which allows you to discover a country and customs through cuisine. We will come back to discover new dishes.

Following my 4th visit, I thought it was time to leave a review 📝 We ate like kings there this Sunday, which is similar to my other 3 experiences. Starter, main course, dessert; everything is SU-CCU-SLOW! 🍽️👌🏻 Special mention for the moutabal which I could clearly eat without hunger as it is so delicious. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who appreciates Lebanese cuisine, and also for those who want to discover it. Impossible to be disappointed. Food, service, atmosphere, it’s a 5/5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS: I only had time to take a photo of the cucumber laban, I devoured the rest 😅😂
