Overall, a very good experience. The food is good, no complaints about the quality, and the owner is really friendly, which makes for a pleasant experience. My only negative point is that the prices have increased significantly over time. The dish I usually order has gone from €22 to €26 in less than two years, while competing restaurants offer a similar dish for around €19.90.

I loved this restaurant!! The decor is magnificent, the service was quick, and above all, the food was absolutely delicious. I had a fish couscous, very Tunisian in style, and it was a real treat—hearty and generous. I highly recommend it.

Restaurant couscous par excellence

On February 9, 2026, I went back to Kaena in Marseille for the first time in almost 20 years. What a great idea! I had merguez couscous and Alain had meatball couscous, and we split it half and half. It was delicious. Impeccable service, and the cherry on top was seeing the former owner, whose son has taken over the business. The whole package! We won't wait another 20 years to go back because at my age, I won't be around anymore...😁 Thank you for the quality, the service, and the atmosphere. Keep it up! 👏👏👏 By the way, someone mentioned a poor welcome at the counter? I didn't see a counter. That person must be confusing it with another restaurant. I saw the owner and the waiter; they're both very friendly and welcoming... I must say, we're friendly too... 😉😁

Today, January 13, 2026, my friends and I went to this restaurant for couscous. Top-notch Tunisian restaurant. And a very warm welcome. They have all kinds of delicious couscous and generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed it; I highly recommend it. Go there!

One of the best Tunisian restaurants in the area. Delicious couscous with perfectly cooked vegetables. Excellent meat. Succulent Tunisian pastries. Well-chosen wine. The only downside was that the traditional Tunisian fig liqueur, boukha, to finish the meal, wasn't on the menu! Perhaps next time?

A small, family-run restaurant serving exceptional couscous with wonderful flavors. The servers are very kind and friendly, the establishment is clean, and it's really inexpensive (€14 for vegetable couscous). I have nothing but praise and would gladly return.
