We come here every year! A fantastic find in Marseille! The couscous is simply delicious, with a homemade harissa that's to die for 🌶️😍. And the meatballs… they were simply divine! So tender and flavorful, a real treat! The waiter is lovely, very friendly, and incredibly attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; we had a wonderful meal! ❤️

The best couscous in Marseille, an institution!!! Always as good, generation after generation

Personally, I consider this the number one couscous spot in Marseille. It is also an old establishment that has been around since the 1960s or 1970s. Located in a prime location right next to the Old Port, the prices are on the steeper side (18 euros for a single Merguez Couscous). However, I was very satisfied with the taste, service, and portion size (since I tend to get very full after ordering just one couscous, I am always satisfied with the quantity). What I liked most was the mint tea. It was the best mint tea I have had in Marseille. Other places charged similar or higher prices for tea that was too bland, but I appreciated that this place served a decent amount of rich mint tea. If you visit on a nice day, you can enjoy a pleasant meal bathed in sunlight streaming into the restaurant. As it is an old establishment, I saw many elderly locals visiting. The person who recommended this place has also lived in Marseille for over 70 years. I highly recommend stopping by and eating here at least once.

I love this food, the couscous and the brie are excellent.

We stopped for lunch here right after visiting the Old Port market and weren't disappointed. The dishes were generous and high-quality, and the service was impeccable. A special mention for the harissa, which was delicious!

Delicious couscous. The setting isn't very pleasant. The restaurant is old-fashioned inside with a few tables set up on a very noisy sidewalk. Don't go there expecting a charming dining experience. However, the food is excellent and definitely worth the trip. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent cuisine, very generous portions, and remarkable flavors. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. A place I recommend without hesitation!
