Katoro Restaurant Caraibeen sur Paris

The place is nice, the paintings are very pretty. But I have to admit I was disappointed with the food; the red bean rice was rather tasteless (it looked like it had been microwaved), and the cod loin was barely cooked. On the other hand, the coconut punch was magnificent.

A very nice restaurant – small but perfectly formed. Very friendly people gave us a warm welcome, and I felt very comfortable despite my limited French. The food was delicious! The dressing on the bowl was excellent, and the chocolate mousse was absolutely divine 😋 A bit pricey for my taste, but definitely worth it!

As usual, the meal was very good… The service was very slow… It’s the first time it’s been this long… In fact, extremely slow… The last drawback was the extreme heat in the restaurant… A small fan would have been a welcome addition!

A wonderful discovery, completely by chance! Our usual restaurant being closed, we ended up here with friends… and what a pleasant surprise! From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and helpful advice. The place has a lot of charm, especially thanks to the magnificent African-inspired paintings displayed in the restaurant, some of which seem to have been created by artists who frequent the place, as well as by the owner herself. As for the food, I'm from the French West Indies and rather demanding—even skeptical—when it comes to Caribbean cuisine far from the Antilles. And yet, I was pleasantly surprised: very flavorful dishes, well-seasoned, with authentic tastes that transported me straight to the Antilles. An excellent surprise, both for the welcome and the food and the atmosphere. I'll be back very soon, this time without needing chance to lead me here!

An exceptional culinary experience. The fresh soursop juice is divine. The service is very friendly, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and carefully prepared. One of my favorite restaurants in Paris!

I walked past this restaurant, feeling empty, and decided to go in… I absolutely don't regret it! I had tempura shrimp (with Creole sauce) as an appetizer, followed by a sausage rougail. Delicious! I'm so glad I discovered this Caribbean restaurant. I highly recommend it. Julo LG
