A wonderful time, a real treat, and the local digestif was a lovely discovery.

Visited KESSARI Indien for dinner after our friends recommended the place for good Indian food in the middle of the city. The restaurant is tucked away in one of the older streets of Paris, surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The combination of the historic surroundings and the lively atmosphere gives the area a unique charm. + The food was very authentic and flavorful, and we were not disappointed with anything we ordered. + The gentleman who owns the restaurant personally took good care of us. He explained the food and available options and helped us decide what to order. + Started mixed vegetable pakoras, served with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, and pickle. + The paneer chilli was very good and had a nice kick. + Vegetable pulao and chana dal with tandoori roti were also nicely prepared. + The food was slightly on the spicy side, but you can ask them to reduce the spice when ordering. + The outdoor seating was a highlight, especially with the surrounding Parisian streets and old buildings. Indoor seating is also available. + The restaurant is conveniently located close to the Paris Metro network, making it easy to reach without a car. + We also tried tea at the end and it was amazing. + We were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary halwa for dessert. A very thoughtful gesture and a nice way to finish the meal. + Service was warm and personal, which made the dinner feel more welcoming. ~ Some dishes can be quite spicy, so if you prefer milder food, mention your preference while ordering. KESSARI Indien is a nice find if you're looking for authentic Indian food while exploring central Paris. The combination of good food, friendly hospitality, outdoor seating and the character of the old Parisian neighbourhood made our dinner particularly enjoyable. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area and craving Indian food.
