29/04/2026: After three months in my new job, I decided to break out of my routine and try some new places… and what a pleasant surprise Au Gourmet de Picpus was!
The starter (a goat cheese and honey puff pastry with crudités) was both very generous and perfectly balanced, a real treat. The main course, a beef skewer with sautéed potatoes, was just as good: perfectly cooked, flavorful ingredients, nothing to complain about.
But beyond the food, it's also the atmosphere that makes all the difference. A warm welcome, attentive service from start to finish, and above all, that little something extra that's rare these days: a real chat with the owner and another customer when it came time to pay the bill. Simple, personal, authentic.
A place I recommend without hesitation and where I'll gladly return. I'm willing to bet Cyril will approve!! 😆
