A last-minute change of plans led us to this restaurant last night.
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the dishes we ordered (spicy shrimp soup and peanut curry beef), a real treat!
We appreciated the quick and friendly service.
It's sometimes hard to know what to expect in very touristy areas. I recommend Khao Thai without hesitation!

Best meal I had in Paris! Just as good or better than the food we had in Thailand. Food came out quickly and had great portion sizes. The Beef Massaman was perfectly spiced. Would come here again!
Ps- you won’t regret ordering the mango sticky rice. Skip the bistro and come here!

I strongly recommend the restaurant.
The food was very good, no complaints. It was nicely seasonned and very fragrant. The meat and veggies were cooked well and the food was plately nicely.
The staff was friendly and accomadating so the service was good.

Just steps from the Monnaie de Paris, this little gem is a stone's throw away. Reservations are essential as space is limited. The service is impeccable (ice bucket for the rosé and peanuts for enjoying it as an aperitif) and the food is excellent.
The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. It can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full, but the positives outweigh the negatives. I highly recommend it.

I regularly go to Thao Kai, appreciating the excellent food with generous portions and the efficient yet very warm service.
But today, unable to get out, I tried to order through a delivery website, but without success. I called the restaurant, and they did everything they could to help me, calling me back and ultimately delivering the food themselves. I have never experienced such helpful and friendly service in such circumstances, and I am all the more pleased to mention it. Once the delivery arrived, the meal was delicious.

The service was always impeccable. However, the beef in the curry had a problem with quality... it wasn't tender at all this time. A real shame.
