Kim-Heng sur Caussade

A rather mixed experience, and especially disappointing considering the prices. I ordered an assortment of four steamed dumplings for €7.50, as well as cuttlefish with pineapple for €10.50, for a total of €22.50 including the rice, which was charged at €3.50. The steamed dumplings were good, but nothing extraordinary. The cuttlefish with pineapple was also quite good, but the proportions left me puzzled: roughly one-third cuttlefish to two-thirds pineapple. Judging by appearances, there must have been less than 70g of cuttlefish on the plate. At €10.50 a dish, I find it particularly expensive. Another rather unpleasant detail: when I ordered, the woman asked me if I wanted rice with my cuttlefish. I naturally said yes, without realizing it was an extra €3.50. I only discovered this when I went to pay. It would be helpful to inform customers that the dishes are served without sides. Regarding the service, I waited a little over 25 minutes for my four steamed dumplings. The main course arrived fairly quickly. But the most disappointing part was what happened during the meal. After I'd already eaten half my dish, I discovered a very long hair in my plate. Since my hair was tied back, and it wasn't the same color as mine, it couldn't have been mine. I pointed it out to the waitress, who simply took the hair back to the kitchen. No apology, no offer to replace my dish, no gesture of goodwill, absolutely nothing. It's not so much the incident itself that bothers me, as these things can unfortunately happen, but rather the complete lack of response to the situation. In the end, even though the food was generally good, I found the value for money very disappointing, and the handling of this incident even more so. I work in this area regularly and could have become a regular customer, but this first experience has absolutely no desire to return. It's a shame, because with more generous portions, greater transparency regarding prices, and above all, a minimum of consideration when a problem arises, my opinion would certainly have been different.

Excellent meal. The samosas and spring rolls were delicious, the beef lok lak was tender and very flavorful, and the stir-fried noodles were fragrant. The terrace is very pleasant, located in the main square of the medieval village of Montpezat. The welcome and service were top-notch.

We ordered takeout, everything was ready quickly, and the service was excellent and very friendly. The spring rolls were delicious, as was the caramel chicken 😀 First time for us, but a very good experience. I recommend it.

The waitresses and waiters were very friendly, and the meal was delicious.
