Ko-sometsuke sur Arcachon

A lunch that was as refined as ever. A room with subtle decor. Everything is in place for a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time having dinner on the restaurant's patio. The dim sum were delicious. It's just a shame that there wasn't a small side dish served with the dim sum and that the dim sum platter with several varieties was only available as part of a set menu.

Passing through the region for a week, we made an excellent discovery at Kometsuke, where we'll be returning for a second meal before our departure because we enjoyed it so much. Delicious and refined cuisine.

It was delicious, with very subtle and nuanced flavors, a real restaurant, not a tourist trap!

Not a convincing experience. I'm familiar with Asian cuisine and also with restaurants that have Michelin stars or stickers. The value for money isn't there. It's good, but not very generous. The staff are friendly, but the service is overwhelmed. The restaurant is quite full, though, so good for them.

Go there for the food. The dim sum are extraordinary. The owner is a bit grumpy, but you overlook that because the food is so good. For starters, we had the Thai beef tartare. It was also excellent.

We had dinner there in July... Asian food wasn't necessarily an obvious choice while staying in Arcachon, but it was delicious, refined, and the combinations of flavors and textures were very well executed! Absolutely fantastic!

A wonderful time spent with family celebrating a birthday in a refined setting. The service was seamless and contributed to the sense of calm that pervades the entire restaurant. The ambiance mirrored the decor: soft and soothing. A beautiful harmony of porcelain and Asian paintings complemented the wall art. The cuisine is brilliantly executed by two experienced chefs who have traveled extensively in Asia and returned to share their delicious culinary balance with us. The dishes feature Asian flavors and textures that transport us and evoke familiar taste memories, all while incorporating French gastronomic touches. In my opinion, the balance was perfect. The lunch menu, with its starter, main course, and dessert, offered generous portions at reasonable prices. The wine list was rather limited, but the pairings were well-chosen. The open kitchen, like a bar, allows diners to watch the dishes being prepared and even chat with the chefs if they wish. There's also the option of sitting further back for a more intimate atmosphere. The restaurant is air-conditioned. In short: A pleasant atmosphere for a good meal that offers a lighthearted and enjoyable escape. I'd love to return to try the other dishes.
