Koura Koura sur Saint-Etienne

My first experience at Koura Koura was wonderful. The welcome was warm, friendly, and familial. The dishes are made fresh to order and homemade, and you can really taste the chef's touch. The chef even came to greet us and chat, which was very pleasant; we felt a bit "privileged." Knowing that the Jean Jaurès neighborhood is overrun with fast food, it's refreshing to have a place where you can come as a couple, with family, or with friends. I now have a place I'll be coming to regularly... special thanks to the waitress and little Tylio 😉

A fabulous atmosphere worthy of the finest restaurants in Paris's Chinatown near Porte d'Italie! The welcome is fantastic. Even the chef comes to introduce himself and ask if everything is alright! Who would have thought such a good restaurant could be found in Saint-Étienne? Everything is homemade. The Peking duck and chicken are a complete revelation, AND IT'S NOT FROZEN! I highly recommend it!

Very disappointed with our return to Koura Koura. One Koura salad had three times more angel hair pasta than lettuce. The duck with cashew nuts and almonds had neither cashew nuts nor almonds. It's not that it wasn't good, but it doesn't deserve the 4.5 stars it received. The whole place, both the restaurant and the food, desperately needs a makeover. What a shame.

Always top quality/price ratio with a charming welcome I don't think you can find better in Saint Etienne special mention for the tasting plate as a starter and the crispy noodles the decor is also very different from classic Asian restaurants it's warm and pretty

High-quality, refined home cooking, prepared to order, a far cry from all-you-can-eat buffets! The price is very reasonable, the setting is cozy, and the welcome is warm. Highly recommended!!

We had a great time at this Vietnamese restaurant. The atmosphere was calm, the food was really good, full of flavor, fresh, and well-served. The waitress was super pleasant, sweet, and attentive—it was a real treat. We ate well, felt comfortable, and had a really good time. No complaints, just want to go back. 🌿🍜
