Krishna sur Paris

It’s a small, no-frills restaurant with richly flavored food in a 100% vegetarian Indian style. The quality/price ratio is perfect, and the portions are quite generous. I was so caught up in the meal that I forgot to take photos of my dishes… And there are many possibilities for people eating gluten-free.

Succulent food, unbeatable value for money.

I spent several weeks in India and I am generally disappointed by Indian restaurants in Paris, which I often find bland. This is not at all the case at Krishna Bhavan, which immediately plunged us back into South Indian cuisine like... South India! All the preparations were very well made, very tasty and the taste of each one was very distinct. The dosa were very generous and excellent, as was the dal palak. Special mention to the paratha, truly perfect: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and smelling of clarified butter. We feasted. Atmosphere like in India: vegetarian restaurant, no alcohol, decor "like there", OK service, ultra reasonable price. We will come back!

Tout ici est plutôt bon, authentique, les prix sont dans l'absolu abordables (même si on peut trouver moins cher ailleurs à la Chapelle ou la Courneuve), le service était efficace, souriant et sympathique. Dans le Thali, je n'ai néanmoins pas retrouvé le niveau d'épices et de piment que j'appréciais au Sri Lanka, et la nourriture manquait du coup un chouïa de piquant. Comme d'habitude avec la cuisine de cette région, c'est aussi assez gras. Quand même une bonne adresse dans l'ensemble.
