L Antilope sur Gouville-Sur-Mer

As regulars who come to Gouville for a breath of fresh air, we particularly appreciate this little restaurant. It has everything: a warm welcome from everyone, excellent food from the main courses to the galettes (we tried them all), a peaceful atmosphere, and a lovely setting. We highly recommend it. It's a great find! 😀👍

A lovely spot, away from the tourist crowds. The owner is super friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The menu is more than adequate and simple. No frills or fuss. Just good stuff.

Tonight we went out for dinner to L'Antilope in Gauville sur Mer; it was nice and close by bike. We stayed sitting outside on the terrace in the sun, but inside it is unexpectedly spacious and therefore has a considerable capacity. The menu, presented in French and English, initially raised a few questions. But anyway, we really wanted to try the regional delicacies, so not the chicken or steak you can get everywhere. We both ordered a type of pancake made from buckwheat flour. It doesn't look very appetizing in the photos, but that turned out to be completely unfounded. They are downright delicious, unexpectedly tasty indeed. We had the version with minced beef and sausages, and it really left us wanting more. The dessert was also fine. The service was very friendly and helpful; a really nice spot for dinner.
