Very beautiful place, and the city is beautiful to!

We went to Airelles to immortalize a marriage proposal and we were captivated by the beauty and charm of the place. The village of Gordes is sublime and authentic. And Airelles is a unique and romantic place perfect for a stay or dinner for two! Chiara & Jean-Emmanuel

We just finished our second stay at La Bastide and can’t wait to go back for our third. Everything about this place is incredible. The hotel itself is stunning - the rooms, decor, pool area and grounds… everything is elegant and thoughtfully designed. I could relax by that pool all summer - beautiful, relaxing, peaceful. The food and restaurants are fantastic, with 4 different restaurant, each a different style/variety, which is valuable considering how small the village of Gordes is. Go on Sunday for their brunch, it’s a must-try. The location is incredible, and must be one of the most beautiful old French villages in the country, and the farmer/flea market on Tuesdays is not to be missed. What separates this hotel more than anything is the service. The staff goes above and beyond in so many ways. Every time we come here the entire staff makes you feel like you’re their #1 guest. It’s truly an incredible feeling. I was hesitant to even write this review to keep this hidden gem just that, but the entire team at Arielles Gordes deserves the credit for an exceptional hotel experience.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, which is, in a word, fantastic. Everything about our visit was perfect, especially the friendliness, attentiveness and hospitality of the staff, from the bar to the pool and restaurant. The valet immediately took our car away when we arrived, and we received a welcome drink at check-in. The friendly young man took our suitcases to the room and told us a bit about the history of the building. The room was upgraded because we booked through American Express. Before this we had never had an upgrade in the 7 years of booking through them so this was a pleasant surprise. The room was beautiful and unique in its style. What I really have to mention are the little things the hotel does that make the visit extra special. For example, every time you came to your room after dinner, there was a new accessory on the bed that we received as a gift from the hotel, such as a beautiful bag and a fan. The employees also addressed us by name when they saw us walking in the hotel, which shows attentiveness, even employees we had never seen knew our name. Those are the little personal things. Even when we left, the car was neatly ready, completely washed! Not only is the hotel wonderful, but the area in which the hotel is located is also magical. Located in a quiet but beautiful village. We highly recommend this hotel!

i don't know where to begin in writing this review but it's been 3 weeks since we've left and all we can think about is when we can return. as with most places, it's not without any faults, but overall, it is truly a magnificent experience worth every cent x

Restaurant with great atmosphere

J’ai pris l’entrée à base d’escargots puis le turbot et la tartelette framboise. Trois plats très bons, et, ce qui est plus rare dans un palace, avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Vue magique. Personnel sympathique.

Superbe vue sur les montagnes, terrasse à l’ombre des arbres très agréable sans parasols, serveurs tous attentionnés, plats raffinés, en bref un très bon moment passé !

We spent a pleasant evening at Clover Gordes with our sons aged 10 and 13. Very good food. The staff were welcoming and attentive. And especially Mathilde who was very attentive to guide us throughout the meal. A pearl. I recommend.
