Pleasant setting, quick service. A bit more smiles and attention would have been welcome. The Spritz at €10 for a half-full glass was disappointing (barely any Prosecco flavor). Pizzas were sparsely topped. Prices are a bit high.

We always come back with just as much pleasure; the dishes are regulars, and even the pickiest kids find something they like. And it's always nice chatting with Julie (if I'm not mistaken about her name 😉). Honestly, we haven't found better in terms of quality, price, atmosphere, and simplicity, and we're going back this weekend. Vincent

We ordered mignons en croûte (small, round, shell-shaped pastries) with baby vegetables and a gratin dauphinois. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the flavorful and tender baby vegetables! The two women serving us were very pleasant. The only downside was the car parked at the entrance to the terrace... It was unusual and obstructed our view of the terrace.

Mountain restaurant with delicate cuisine. Seating is on straight, upholstered chairs or quirky bus benches. It gets busy on weekends, so you have to raise your voice to hear each other. The lighting is dim, diffused by small lamps on the tables.

Absolutely fantastic! We'd been a few years ago, and the welcome was very warm. The young woman clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her smile. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but that's to be expected when it's homemade. The food was a delight from start to finish, and the quality-price ratio was excellent. We had a truly wonderful time and will definitely be back. Just so you know, I never leave reviews for restaurants where I've been disappointed; we eat at one or two different places each week.

Restaurant Le Farinaud

13/04/2026: Le Farinaud is a truly wonderful place in Pipay. A must in winter for a lunch break on the slopes, and just as pleasant in summer to enjoy the cool mountain air. Special mention goes to the blueberry tart and the walnut tart—both are excellent. A warm welcome, a beautiful mountain establishment, and Agnès and her entire team are incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it!
02/04/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le Farinaud. The cuisine is authentic, with delicious and generous homemade dishes and desserts, and a special mention goes to the truly remarkable desserts. The setting is incredible, with views of the Chartreuse and Belledonne mountains. An authentic place that has retained its charm, highly recommended.
