La Belle de Mai sur Saint-Martin-De-Boscherville

Following our visit to the adjacent abbey gardens, we arrived around 15 minutes after the normal lunch service finished. Nevertheless the owner was happy to make an exception, so we had the homemade lasagna, followed by a nectarine & passionfruit tiramisu which was absolutely delicious - those kind of flavours you'll only get from fruits if they've ripened all the way on the branch!

A quick stop in St. Martin de Bocherville, pleasantly shaded in this heat. I had the beef tigliata with new potatoes. Perfect, delicious, and well-served. For 12 euros, it's a great deal! 🙏
