25/03/2026: During our weekend in Deauville, while strolling along the beach, our attention was drawn to the superb terrace of Ciro’s and its particularly appealing menu. We decided to return that same evening to explore the interior.
From the moment we entered, we received a warm welcome from the entire staff. Quickly settled into one of the elegant banquettes in the upper section, we were captivated by the immersive décor, a blend of lacquered wood, velvet, brass details, and nautical motifs, extending even to the food. The atmosphere, hushed and candlelit, is both chic and inviting. Everything evokes the sea, with subtlety and a modern touch.
We also noticed the very attractive armchairs designed for tables of two, allowing diners to sit side by side. A particularly thoughtful touch, ideal for sharing a timeless moment in an intimate and convivial atmosphere—a detail that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is charming.
Upon perusing the drinks menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the original and carefully curated selection of non-alcoholic options, offering genuine alternatives for those wishing to celebrate differently, with creations that were as compelling as they were refined.
The maître d'hôtel gave us ample time to savor our aperitifs before the arrival of the starters. This allowed us to observe the service with pleasure, and in particular the flambéing of a peppered beef fillet right before our eyes—a rare skill, brought back to life here. These gestures, a deliberate choice by the establishment, add a spectacular and authentic dimension to the experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed both our starters and main courses, both visually and in terms of taste. Special mention goes to the remarkable quality and freshness of the seafood, as well as the black cod, enhanced by a miso marinade and a perfectly balanced ginger condiment. The choice of garnishes, in the Anglo-Saxon style, is also a real plus for keeping things interesting.
We also greatly appreciated Valentin's presence throughout the dinner; his attentiveness and thoughtfulness greatly contributed to the quality of the experience. Thank you for the particularly pleasant exchange when the bill arrived—you are an excellent restaurant manager. We wish you continued success and thank you again for the diverse selection of herbal teas 😉
