22/03/2024: A lukewarm reception but English could be spoken, which was a bit disappointing for a receptionist. There was no explanation whatsoever about the restaurant, payment for the room and no identity was asked as is customary. Free parking on site. This was referred to.
We were given a key to a room but it was not the right room. So back, another key, excuse is a French word, I thought, but she didn't know it. The room was a bit gloomy, clean but really needed paint here and there. The toilet is separate from the bathroom and small and completely outdated. The bathroom has a bath but the stopper is missing and bends in some places. If you have difficulty walking, showering is not possible as there is no handle. Holes in the wall and door, a mirror that doesn't stay in place and small bath towels that you can't hang anywhere. The bathroom is a bit outdated. There are no curtains, but there are shutters to darken. We slept well there.
The hotel has a swimming pool but slippers and a bathrobe must be obtained from reception with a deposit!
The laminate in the hallways needs some work. The hotel is a bit noisy.
The restaurant is on another level. There's only one word for that, great. Wood cuisine with ample portions, refined dishes, attentive and very friendly service, nice wine list so you can really enjoy an evening. We enjoyed it, thank you. In short, 3 stars, 2 for the hotel and at least 4 for the kitchen.
26/02/2024: Why look elsewhere? Mont Aimé is THE safe bet in the sector.
Always fine meals and quality service in a warm setting.
Value for money always at the top.
The drinks are good there and I love the sommelier.
Establishment where you feel good, as a couple or with friends, and where you want to come back.
I can not wait to return to.
