La Bonne Franquette sur Le Caire

A superb discovery of this little restaurant hidden on the side of the valley. Not easy to find but totally homemade cuisine served in a friendly manner 😁 Mr at the bar and Mrs in the kitchen. We enjoyed ourselves.

A very nice surprise! A warm welcome and delicious home cooking. “A la bonne franquette” lives up to its name, you quickly feel at ease, with a view of the mountains, we would really like to see more establishments like this. Many thanks

We have to be honest, when we arrived we wondered if we hadn't made a mistake. Rough path, leading to an old farm, plastic tent-style front. But as soon as we walked through the door we smelled the food and changed our minds. Small oral menu of fresh, farm or local produce. We have rarely eaten so well (and drank! I recommend the homemade apple or peach wine). And very rarely, we reserved for the following evening when leaving, and came back for a 3rd evening, when normally we like to eat everywhere to see the different restaurants in the area. If we ever come back to the area we will eat there again without hesitation.
