La Boucherie Thierry sur Le Teil

Passing through the area, we stopped to pick up some picnic supplies for lunch. The welcome was a bit cold, given that we arrived around 1 p.m. and were only buying from the butcher's counter, not planning to eat in. The salads were mediocre; they didn't taste homemade at all, which is a shame for a local business. On the other hand, from what we saw, there was a very wide selection of meat and the premises were clean.

A pleasant surprise during a random stop on our way back to the campsite. A generous starter of terrine; we had to ask for a doggy bag. The main course was equally well-presented, with flavorful and delicious meat. A real treat at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A place to remember! We stopped by for a meal. The quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food made us want to go back!
