La Cabane, France sur Merignac

I had a great experience at the Air France Lounge in Bordeaux Airport before my Sunday evening flight at 8:25 PM. The lounge is relatively small, but that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable. It feels cosy, peaceful, and—during my visit—not crowded at all, providing the perfect atmosphere to unwind before boarding. A special mention goes to the lady welcoming guests. She was exceptionally professional, genuinely warm, and made every guest feel valued from the moment they arrived. Customer service of this quality is becoming increasingly rare. The food selection was good, and there was a nice variety of coffee, soft drinks, and other beverages. Everything was fresh, well presented, and regularly replenished. Having also visited the other lounge at Bordeaux Airport, which is shared by most other airlines, I can confidently say the difference is like night and day. The Air France Lounge offers a much calmer atmosphere, superior hospitality, and an overall far more pleasant experience. If you’re flying Air France from Bordeaux, this lounge is definitely worth visiting. I would happily return.

I enjoyed the Air France lounge at Bordeaux airport. It was very quiet. The food selection was limited but sufficient for a short break. Thank you for the canelés and the wine selection.

The lounge is standard, does the job, and the food service is minimal. However, I want to warmly commend the Air France reception staff at this lounge who, on several occasions, saved my trip due to recurring delays. They changed my connecting flights to ensure I arrived at my destination safely, which would have resulted in significant additional costs not covered by Air France! (Transportation upon arrival in Nice was very expensive, as there were no more regular transport options – ride-hailing services or taxis cost at least €160 to reach my final destination, or even a hotel room at Nice Airport cost the same, instead of €20 by bus or train...). However, I've been told it will be closing this spring, by the end of April at the latest. Can anyone confirm this? Is this due to Air France's budget cuts? What's the point of Air France's perks if they're being eliminated one after another?

As I was flying business class, I had lunch in this lounge in Paris before my departure for Bordeaux, and it was truly excellent. The staff at reception were dynamic and professional. ✈️🙏👏
