Wow! Amazing! I'd even give it 6 stars ⭐️ for the ambiance, the view, the food, the welcome, the waitresses and the owners, not forgetting the chefs! We had a wonderful meal! And the rosé was perfect! The Lyonnais (😜Bocuse!)

After its move from Notre Dame, the new Cachette welcomes us facing the ocean, a feast for the eyes and the palate. Bistronomy has finally arrived on the Capbreton seafront. The lunch menu invites the discerning beachgoer, and the evening menu caters to the romantic connoisseur… Long live La Cachette and its delightful owners! 🤩

We loved this restaurant! The food was excellent, the owners were really friendly and lovely with children. The children's menu and their flexibility were a huge plus! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

A few minor details prevent me from giving La Cachette a 4/5 rating. The service was a bit too rushed with the appetizers; we had barely received our cocktails before they arrived. The appetizers themselves were delicious. Special mention goes to the slow-cooked octopus with chorizo ​​cream, which was flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and generous. As for the main courses, the fish dishes were slightly overcooked, whether it was the turbot cooked on the bone or the tuna tataki. The desserts were good but not exceptional. The mango, passion fruit, and papaya finger lacked acidity to balance the flavors. It's worth noting the excellent wine list and reasonable prices for the quality offered. We had the opportunity to speak with the chef at the end of our meal and shared our feedback, which I hope was constructive, and he was very receptive. I think we'll return because it was still a good meal, and we appreciated the chef's approach.
