La Cantina sur Villers-Sur-Mer

The saleswomen were incredibly kind and even smiled as they continued serving us, despite it being time to pack up and close up after a long day. The young woman took the time to describe the flavors to us and served us with genuine friendliness and a wonderful smile 😊 At least this is a business that understands customer service, unlike some other ice cream shops that practically told us to get lost at 9:50 pm. On top of that, their ice cream is incredibly delicious and the portions are very generous; it's definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it. Well done to this dynamic young team, keep up the good work! ☺️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic spot in Villers-sur-Mer! The churros are truly excellent: piping hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside—a real treat. It's definitely my top recommendation. The service isn't always super fast, but that's perfectly understandable given how busy it gets, especially during peak season. The staff does their best despite the crowds. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Villers-sur-Mer, especially for the churros!

Excellent experience! I ordered two Tasty Crousty sandwiches, and they were incredible: perfectly crispy, generous, and absolutely delicious. The service was very quick, which was much appreciated. The restaurant's atmosphere is also fantastic; you really feel comfortable there. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it!

I ordered two scoops of ice cream (grapefruit-lime and lavender-vanilla, I think); the size was very generous for only 5 euros, there was a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and you could choose between a cup or a cone. Plus, the waitress was very friendly.

A lot has changed compared to previous years. Some tubs were practically empty right from the start, with dried ice around them, the ice cream scoops were much smaller (too small), and there was total disorganization! The young people are certainly full of good intentions, but they lack supervision, which is a shame.

I've been coming to Villers specifically for their ice cream for over 15 years, but I had a nasty surprise last week. I was served by a seasonal worker who clearly hadn't been trained to make Italian ice cream. Smaller portions and more expensive, and you've just lost a very loyal customer.

I've been coming regularly for 10 years, and it seems the menu has changed recently, both in terms of prices (higher) and portion sizes. Used to ice cream with more generous scoops than its competitors, I was disappointed to receive a small scoop, which I paid more for than usual. The waffles were strangely salty (perhaps a mistake) and soggy. Furthermore, they're no longer served with the strawberry-flavored candies they used to have. That prices have gone up, fine, inflation exists, but that portion sizes have decreased... I'm not entirely convinced. See: the photo shows the ice cream with the green spoon before, the pink one now.

The new team is great, even if they're not quite as efficient as the old one yet—that should come with practice… but the new prices… the ice cream is more expensive than at the Tuileries Garden in Paris. Here, 3 scoops cost €7, at the Tuileries €5.50, and at €7 it's 5 scoops… something's not right here…

My son and I ordered two hot American sandwiches. We thoroughly enjoyed them. They were huge and delicious.
