19/04/2026: The food has been steadily declining for the past few years. For lunch today, I ordered a warm goat cheese salad for €19.50. What I received was a barely dressed green salad with three cherry tomatoes, a generous amount of ham (but it was too salty and didn't taste good), and three toasts topped with a slice of goat cheese as thin as cigarette paper. The waitress, who was otherwise very friendly, said she could take it back to the kitchen to remake it. But that doesn't change the fact that they dare to serve this kind of dish... Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

25/06/2025: We really like the place, but we've been very disappointed twice in a row. We noticed twice in a row that after ordering, the server came back to tell us that they were out of pastries, but regular customers who arrived after us had received pastries. We had the distinct impression that they weren't serving everyone the same way. Furthermore, it was only 9:30 a.m., and it's really not serious at this hour to have no more pastries. No credible explanation from the server.

22/03/2026: A truly beautiful place to stay! The rooms are spacious, pleasant, and bright. The spa area is also very relaxing, with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam (we didn't try the treatments/massages). The restaurant is a real highlight! A very nice menu and a good wine list as well. All the staff were very kind and attentive; we received a very warm welcome. A few minor points for improvement: cobwebs on the main staircase, the seasoning of the dishes could have been a bit more precise (the poultry was very salty, the chocolate dessert very sweet), and I agree with some of the comments about breakfast, where everything is good but the portions are a bit small (no more baguette at 9:30 a.m., for example). In short, if Google allowed it, I would have given it 4.5 stars! Thank you in any case for these wonderful moments.

12/03/2026: Passing through Villers-sur-Mer, we were drawn to this place and its lovely location for an afternoon snack. We had two apple juices, which were very good, a Viennese hot chocolate, also very good, and two slices of brioche. We appreciated the ambiance and the location. However, we were surprised by the price of the brioche in particular. It was €10 for two slices of toasted brioche (a little burnt in some places) with a choice of topping (jam or chocolate). I think that for €10, a proper slice of brioche, perhaps French toast style, would be a better option? The place is very nice, but €50 for an afternoon snack is a bit of a turn-off 😬
