22/03/2026: A truly beautiful place to stay! The rooms are spacious, pleasant, and bright. The spa area is also very relaxing, with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam (we didn't try the treatments/massages). The restaurant is a real highlight! A very nice menu and a good wine list as well. All the staff were very kind and attentive; we received a very warm welcome. A few minor points for improvement: cobwebs on the main staircase, the seasoning of the dishes could have been a bit more precise (the poultry was very salty, the chocolate dessert very sweet), and I agree with some of the comments about breakfast, where everything is good but the portions are a bit small (no more baguette at 9:30 a.m., for example). In short, if Google allowed it, I would have given it 4.5 stars! Thank you in any case for these wonderful moments.

24/08/2026: The restaurant was decent, with a warm welcome and pleasant service. A few comments: the tables were so close together that for some people, leaving their table meant moving three other people. The strawberry pistachio tiramisu dessert was truly disappointing in terms of texture, flavor, and quantity, especially considering it cost nearly €10. I didn't mention it while I was there because I was a guest, but in my opinion, it really needs improvement.

23/07/2026: A café bathed in sunshine for much of the year, where it's very pleasant to sit on the terrace, even with a light sweater depending on the season. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service and welcome are always pleasant. The breakfasts are very good and offered at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the whole team for your cheerfulness! The only negative point doesn't concern the establishment itself, but some smoking customers. We are now aware of the effects of secondhand smoke, and it's a shame that some people still choose to smoke right next to others, sometimes even children. A few meters further away would allow everyone to fully enjoy the moment. A little consideration for others would make the experience even more pleasant.

18/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful experience at Mermoz, a place I highly recommend! From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome. Despite a slight wait, we were notified and seated as quickly as possible. The restaurant is clean, elegant, and well-maintained, yet still welcoming: you immediately feel at ease. The setting with its sea view is very pleasant, and the different areas allow you to enjoy the space even when the weather isn't ideal. I also appreciated the spacing between the tables: you don't feel crowded. A small touch that I particularly appreciated: water is brought directly with the menus. It may seem trivial, but when you arrive thirsty or someone needs to take medication, it's truly appreciated. On the culinary front, the oysters were excellent 🦪: very fresh, a good size, with a pleasant texture and a lovely accompaniment of shallots and vinegar. I then chose the salmon with rice and broccoli. It's a dish I cook regularly and I'm quite particular about it: I was very satisfied. Good quality ingredients, lots of flavor, and just the right portion. Serving the sauce separately was also a great idea, allowing everyone to add as much as they like and combine it with their own. There were several of us, and everyone was very happy: almost all the plates were emptied! The beef tartare was a big hit, as were the lightly spiced calamari. Even the sauerkraut, which I'm not usually a big fan of, was very well done. A special mention goes to our server, Noël, who contributed enormously to this wonderful experience. He was very respectful, helpful, attentive, and above all, offered excellent advice. He specifically warned us that the mussels were small that day, which we greatly appreciated: his honesty allowed us to choose something else rather than risk being disappointed. He was always available whenever we had a question or request. A level of service that's become quite rare these days. A member of our family also needed a takeaway at the last minute, and the team managed to prepare it for us. Thank you! If there's one area for improvement, it would be the non-alcoholic cocktail menu. The offerings seemed rather basic, mainly based on juices and syrups. I would have liked to see more elaborate and creative mocktails, with fresh fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, or more original combinations. 🍹 Finally, the value for money is very good considering the quality of the products, the service, the ambiance, and the location. The menu also offers different price points, making it suitable for a range of budgets. I had already visited Le Mermoz as a child and had fond memories of it. Several years later, with more experience in different restaurants and a more discerning palate, I left once again very satisfied. Thank you to the entire team, and a special mention to Noël for the outstanding quality of his service. A place I highly recommend in Villers-sur-Mer!

02/09/2026: Dish ordered: fish of the day with beurre blanc sauce. The person in the kitchen needs to learn how to make beurre blanc, one of the cornerstones of French cuisine. I received a plate of boiled fish (which was actually of decent quality) but completely tasteless. Instead of beurre blanc sauce, they used cheap, low-grade cream! An insult to gastronomy. My husband ordered the calf's head; the main ingredient seemed to be of good quality, but it had no flavor whatsoever. You should hire someone who can actually cook. We ordered an aperitif, and there weren't even a few small cakes with it! You have no sense of hospitality or customer service. I'll pass next time.

24/08/2026: We had a good meal, the waitresses were very nice, but the middle-aged waiter with glasses and tattoos on his hands was very unpleasant to several customers, racist towards a group of Asian people, and made extremely disturbing animal noises during the meal. He also told some other customers to shut their mouths. Something to think about!

03/09/2026: We had two pizzas last night. The staff are professional, competent, and friendly. The pizzas are very good; I order them regularly and have never been disappointed. I recommend them.
