La Cantine sur Agde

I'd love to give this place a few more stars 🤩 The food was very, very good. We had a plat de jour and it was extremely delicious. The fish was freshly caught. All in all, I'd happily go back.

Having walked past this restaurant every morning while jogging, the smells wafting from the kitchen prompted us to book a table. Our instinct led us to discover this family restaurant, open since 1982, a good old-fashioned grandmother's restaurant, just the way we like them. Huge respect for the entire team who perpetuate some of the greatest French expertise by tackling the lengthy preparation and cooking processes overnight. The complete daily menu at €24.90 is homemade and we had a blast, with more than generous portions served family-style. BRAVO and see you soon for the bouillabaisse.

I highly recommend the food. You have to pre-order, otherwise you won't get a seat. Lots of locals come to eat. Sitting outside in the garden chairs takes a bit of getting used to, but the food makes up for anything. Despite some communication difficulties (I don't speak French), the staff are very nice and friendly.

You absolutely must not miss this seaside address with excellent value for money. Be careful, it's generous and homemade, which is a change 😀

The quality of the service and food matched the price, simple but decent. Very well located, facing the sea.

We had the 24 euro menu for starter, main course, dessert, and wine. Excellent bull stew. The dessert was very good. Nothing to complain about. Friendly staff.

Very good restaurant with a great meal, honestly I don't even have the words to describe how good it is, with FRESH seafood.
