La Cantine sur Rouen

We had an extraordinary time with a team who managed to bring heart and meaning to a situation that could have turned out better despite their efforts. Salia family and Mustafa are exceptionally generous and wonderfully kind. More than just a cooking class, it was a magnificent experience. The tasting was incredibly delicious and excellent! Thank you to this exceptional team, and we recommend La Cantine 2000%!

I usually help out by taking the time to leave reviews, whether positive or negative, and I'm rarely disappointed 😞 We booked this establishment for a work-related cooking session with colleagues. We were surprised to find there was only one chef for eight people, in a tiny 10m² kitchen where you could barely move around... for a workshop where we were all supposed to be cooking... it wasn't ideal. The hygiene was a bit questionable... and that's putting it mildly. I still want to thank the chef who went out of his way to offer us, with limited resources, a pretty good menu and pleasant service. This didn't stop us from having a good evening. A mixed review, but worth reading to improve the service for future customers.
